Robert Bennet (Bennett) (died 1617) was an English bishop.
He was born in Baldock, Hertfordshire. He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge, graduating B.A. in 1567, and becoming a Fellow.[1][2] As a young man he was noted as a tennis player.[3] He offended Elizabeth I of England by preaching against her proposed marriage to François, Duke of Anjou.[2]
He became Dean of Windsor in 1595, and Bishop of Hereford in 1603.[4]
